I’ve always been fascinated by our obsession with technology and the way it can both enhance our lives and pull us further away from our own nature.

CYB0RG5 is a vision of our future selves.

The series takes the skulls and bones I’ve been drawing since my early Ink Studies and evolves them into five transhuman skulls shaped by our increasingly complicated relationship with technology.

For me, it’s also the culmination of a lot of what I had learned through the Ink Studies, Re-Animated and my AR experiments. It mixes classical drawing and painting, hand animation, digital post-production, FX animation and, eventually, AI animation.

As the technology evolves, I keep changing the production pipeline and finding new ways of mixing techniques. That constant experimentation has become a big part of how I work.

It’s one of the styles I’m most proud of.
